One of the online art contests that I do is the Monthly Gargoyles Character. Every month there's a different theme and this was what I did for the 'Underwater Gargoyles' competition. It's based the frilled shark that was caught in Japan last summer, a fish too weird-looking in my opinion to just be a fish. I decided that it was a species of underwater gargoyle beast, used to guard their clan.

The amazing thing was that I won with this!
